STOP OVER / STAGE POINT

Our love for horses and for tourism took us to plan and organize our property as STAGE POINT for horses and horse riders.

Our association is affiliated to Fitetrec-Ante Federazione Italiana Turismo Equestre ed Equitazione di Campagna (Fitetrec-Ante Italian Equestrian Tourism and Country Horse Riding Federation). Fitetrec organizes yearly horse ride meetings for all the members.

We have 6 big boxes 3 metres by 3 metres, closed on three sides. The horses would have at their disposal water, oats and the best hay directly from our fields.

Our property consists of 7.5 hectares of land, therefore there is no lack of space to leave the horse to pasture.

For the horse riders we have at their disposal a nice little masonry house for four people: with double bed room, bunk bed room, large bathroom and a bright living room with kitchen corner , there is also a little garden and a patio with table and chairs to enjoy the fresh air in the summer evenings, with the only accompaniment of the cricket calls.

Further to our little house we have a large room in our house for up to four people.

In the “Stage Point Packet” are included the overnight stay, supper, breakfast and the sandwich for the following day, on top, of course, of forage and box for the horses.

We have a pizza oven and a large barbecue, therefore there will be no lack of simple but tasty suppers prepared with passion by us. Claudio is an excellent pizza maker and an artist with charcoal and embers, while Judith is an excellent cook at the stove.

We have a passion for wine and we both work for a wine producing company, we can offer targeted wine tasting sessions or on request we can organize “wine tasting suppers” with particular food and wine matching.

In conclusion after a horseback ride good food coupled with good wine in an informal atmosphere will contribute to happy evenings in good company, where exchanging experiences and tales will be a great pleasure. Outside during the summer and in front of the fireplace during the cooler evenings…
